The 4th International Mayo Clinic Spine Symposium will be held on February 1-5, 2009 at The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua Resort, Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, USA.
Course Overview
This annual five day CME event features the latest in new treatment strategies and techniques for orthopedists, neurosurgeons and neuroscientists involved in treating patients with spinal disorders. The course rotates to locations among the four Hawaiian Islands of Oahu, Kaua’i, Maui and the Big Island in an effort to attract participants from around the world.
Our 2009 program focus:
- Trauma
- Minimally invasive spine surgery
- Non-Operative spine care
The five, half-day sessions are designed to be highly interactive. Attendees and faculty interact in a casual, yet dynamic forum that features debates, panel discussions, case presentations, evidence-based reviews, and our unique “unknowns” challenge, Spinal Curve Ball.
Our continuing goal is to recruit outstanding surgeons from the United States and around the world. Our guest faculty members are among the top practitioners in the field and ensure a dynamic and challenging learning experience.
Target Audience
This program is specifically designed for orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and spine care providers.
